Don't point your eyes at your cam.

Don't point your eyes at your cam while you talk to create some illusion of connection. Your eyes are not pointing devices. They are light receptors. Look at a listener's face on the screen. Really LOOK at that listener while words are coming out of your mouth. Read that person's reactions to you and let those reactions affect what you say and how you say it.
